As part of RidgeTech Automation Inc.’s continuous commitment to training and upgrading skills for our employees, we are investing heavily in customized General Motors Global Common Control – Software, Hardware, Networks and Robot Certification Courses. We have several employees who have successfully completed courses with more employees scheduled to start soon. The majority of the training courses take place at GM’s M-TEC Facility just outside of Detroit, Michigan, with some courses and exams offered online. We plan to invest even more in the training as we continue to position ourselves to be able to support General Motors both here in Canada and around the globe. General Motors has more than 212,000 employees that work in 396 facilities, across six continents and all 23 time zones. We recognize the importance of automation in GM’s manufacturing and quality systems and we want to remain a strong and effective supplier to them as they continue to grow their market share.
