Cambridge, Ontario (April 25, 2016) – RidgeTech Automation Inc. is pleased to announce the development of the RidgeTech Automation Scholarship Fund. The fund has been developed with the intention of encouraging and promoting the STEM Fields (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) and more specifically the fields of Robotics & Automation. We want to help spread the word to future generations that Robotics and Smart Manufacturing are fun and exciting career opportunities with bright futures.
The first donation from the Scholarship Fund will be going to the Brick Works Academy. Brick Works Academy has summer camps all over the region where children get to build, program and play with LEGO Robotics, some of which simulate the robot controllers used in real world applications. RidgeTech has pledged a donation to supplement one week of camp for 10 deserving children that would otherwise not be able to attend this amazing summer camp.
