RidgeTech Automation operates out of Cambridge, Ontario, close to Hwy 401 and Hwy 8. All team members must be able to attend the office and local client sites. RidgeTech Automation strives to maintain a local workload, typically a 1-2 hour radius of the office in Cambridge. Depending on the position, such as a Control Systems Specialists, both domestic and international travel may be required. The locations and length of travel will vary depending on the projects and workloads at any given time.

Co-op Students & New Graduate Opportunities

RidgeTech Automation prides itself on offering valuable work experiences for post-secondary students in the winter (January), spring (May), and fall (September) work terms. 

Eligible students must be enrolled in a qualifying post-secondary school program, typically in one of the following areas:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Control Systems
  • Robotics
  • Automation
  • Computer Science

Students are encouraged to apply directly to the co-op posting on our Jobs Page or through their school co-op portal.

Hiring Process & Accessibility

RidgeTech Automation uses an HRIS platform called BambooHR to manage it’s hiring process. There are no AI filters on this system and AI is not currently used to evaluate applications. Applying directly to the Job Posting collects the necessary information to efficiently evaluate applications and provide applicable updates. 

We aim to have a streamlined and effective hiring process. The position will dictate the number of steps required. A typical hiring process consists of an introduction call with our People & Culture team, a virtual and/or in- person interview with our Hiring Leads, and a follow up/ verification step. During in person interviews we may use practical assessments to give candidates a better idea of the tasks or requirements of the role.
