RidgeTech Automation Inc. (RTA) is extremely pleased to announce that they are moving forward with a significant expansion at their head office in Cambridge, Ontario. The expansion is scheduled to be completed by August 1, 2018, and will see the overall office space nearly double in size. “The past 3 years have seen our business grow tremendously, so it makes sense that our office grows as well,” said RTA President Mike Wood. “Our team has put a major focus on providing controls support and solutions to local machine builders and manufacturing facilities, and that effort has resulted in several local partnerships and strong growth for us.” “We said several years ago that we wanted to pay more attention to clients within a 1-hour radius of Cambridge,” said Leigh Spraggett, Vice-President at RTA. “When you look at the number of machine builders and manufacturers located in South Western Ontario and the GTA, this location has been an excellent fit for us.” The 401 corridor from the GTA to London is home to an exceptionally large number of world-class manufacturing facilities and automation builders, and has drawn attention both nationally and internationally for being a strong technology hub. “Of course, we love working with our global clients and we will continue to build relationships around the world, but with demand for controls and automation services being so high in our own backyard, it makes sense to work with our neighbors every chance we get.”
